Today I just wanted to give some updates on the planning for our WDW trip 2012.
*We have moved the departure date up by about a week. So we are now just 356 days away from once again seeing the house that Mickey built.
*I contacted a travel agent at MEI and Mouse Fan Travel. Still not sure if I want to work with a travel agent but I am interested in seeing what the no obligation quote looks like. She did tell me that they will not have the 2012 resort rates available until August
*The hotels I am currently interested in are the Port Orleans Riverside...
the Dolphin ...
and the Polynesian...
The Polynesian is the dark horse in this race but I am pulling for it! So we shall see.
*That is it for right now. If you have any comments or questions please feel free to contact me. Thanks again for reading.

I've stayed at Poly and Riverside when it was known as Dixie Landings. I loved staying at Poly and Dixie was good as well. A down side of Dixie was the bus situation. The buses would often fill up quickly as there is one major bus stop and the same bus would stop at French Quarter first. I would recommend French Quarter out of all the moderates. It's very intimate and easy to navigate from your room to the bus stop.
Hey, Josh thanks for the comments. We would love to stay at the Poly but the rooms start at around $400 to $450 a night during the summer. Disney usually runs a 40% off offer around the time we are wanting to go. If that happens we are in. If not I think we will be staying at Riverside. In 2008 we stayed at a cabin at Fort Wilderness...that taught us a thing or two about bad Disney transportation. We ended up driving to the parks. Thanks for following and I hope you enjoy it.
